Marc Love named Umbraco MVP

We were thrilled to see our Co-founder and Tech Lead, Marc Love, named an Umbraco MVP. Marc’s technical vision and long-standing contributions to Umbraco have been invaluable, and this recognition truly reflects his passion for helping the community grow.

uSkinned wins Best Website Builder

Another highlight came when uSkinned won Best Website Builder at the CMS Critic People's Choice Awards. This award is shaped by user votes from around the world, making it even more meaningful. Not to mention, being up against some of the biggest names in the website builder space — including Optimizely, Squarespace, Webflow, and Wix. This is a testament to the power, flexibility, and reliability that Site Builder brings to projects of all sizes.

Inducted into the Umbraco Package Hall of Fame — for the third time

This year at Codegarden, we were honoured to be inducted into the Umbraco Package Hall of Fame for the third time. This is an incredibly special achievement for us. Being recognised once is an accomplishment — being welcomed in three times is a reflection of the lasting impact uSkinned has had on the Umbraco ecosystem over more than a decade.

🌍 New Regional Hosting Options

A major step forward this year was the introduction of regional hosting options for our Hosted version of uSkinned Site Builder. This update gives customers who opt for our Hosted platform more control and flexibility than ever, allowing sites to be hosted closer to their audiences for improved performance and compliance.

We plan to bring even more regional options in 2026.

Innovation continued to be the heartbeat of uSkinned in 2025.

The Visual Editor arrives in Site Builder 6.2

The launch of the Visual Editor marked a major step forward in the editing experience. Content teams can now make updates directly on the page, with instant visual feedback. This has dramatically streamlined workflows and reduced the learning curve for new users.

uSkinned Site Builder 6.4

With Site Builder 6.4, we delivered a round of improvements designed to make building sites even faster and more intuitive. From performance refinements to new configuration capabilities.

Together, these releases reflect our continued drive to evolve uSkinned Site Builder based on customer feedback and real-world usage.

🎨 Starter Kits & Learning

2025 wasn’t just about new capabilities — it was also about helping users get up and running faster and with better resources.

New Starter Kit & Theme add-ons

We launched a collection of Starter Kits and Theme Add-Ons, giving users a head start on common project types like events, trades, and more. These add-ons make it quicker to prototype and launch sites with visually appealing, well-structured foundations.

Get Started Video Series

To support users of all experience levels, we also released a step-by-step video series — Get Started with uSkinned Site Builder for Umbraco. These walkthroughs guide you through key workflows, from basic setup to more advanced techniques, making it easier than ever to maximise Site Builder’s potential.
